Screen printing and digital (direct-to-film) printing are two high-quality methods we use to decorate apparel, each suited for different order sizes. We use digital printing for orders of 6–17 pieces and screen printing for orders of 18 or more. The comparison below helps you understand what to expect depending on your quantity.

FEEL & FINISH
Digital prints have a flat and flexible texture that feels lower to the garment than traditional screen printing, giving them a sleek, lightweight feel. The finish is smooth and consistent across all garment types, from cotton to performance blends.
PRINT QUALITY
While the texture and process are different, both deliver sharp detail and vibrant color. When properly cared for, the design can be expected to last and hold up well over time.
DURABILITY
Both methods are durable and long-lasting when cared for properly. Screen print ink bonds with the fabric, making it extremely resistant to wear. Digital prints sit on top of the fabric and hold up well to repeated washing and cared for according to care instructions.
MINIMUM
For orders of 6–17 pieces, we use digital printing, which doesn’t require any physical setup. Your design is printed directly onto a transfer and applied with a heat press—no screens, no delays.
For orders of 18 or more, we use screen printing, which involves creating physical screens for each color in your design. This setup is more efficient and cost-effective as the quantity increases.
